Will’s first word was ‘duck’ and his obsession with ducks after that only grew and grew, so it seemed fitting that I make him a duck cake for his second birthday.
I used the Wilton 3D duck cake pan and also baked two large round cakes for the pond underneath.
I iced the pond with three shades of blue buttercream icing and used a small star shaped piping nozzle for the duck. His eyes were made of fondant.
I also made mini ducks out of fondant and placed them on blue jelly ponds.
Will absolutely loved his birthday! Happy days.
